I hope the tonal gradation printed well. That will make a good weekend this winter.

Yes, me too. Actually, I was surprised just how well their box picture (in the attachment above, a small jpeg) matches the original file.

Very nice shot, Slobo.  Congrats on the sale.  Did you stitch?

Thanks, Alan. Yes, a stitch of about a dozen vertical shots, with overlaps.

Wow! I'm not often impressed by landscape, but I'm impressed by this one. Bravo, Slobodan!

What's the dimension of the final puzzle?

What's the dimension of the final puzzle?

Couldn’t find for this one specifically, but such puzzles usually go to 35” - 40” for the long side.

It says 385 x 222 mm, which makes one wonder how the picture is fitted.

Congrats S, I am sooooooo not going to purchase this...

Those are box dimensions, not the final image.

Not that I expect or hope that you or anyone else here will buy it (I do not benefit from individual sales), but just out of curiosity, why “soooo not” buying it?

Ha, a 1000 pieces, a minimum of 200 are plain blue, another 200 structured white, i'm already crazy enough as it is, no need to aggravate it.  ;D

I'm tempted to buy it. Not that I have time to assemble puzzles, but just tht it might be less expensive than buying a signed print from Slobodan.   ;)

Ha! You got that right! 😊

Actually, I saw it at a local framer: assembled puzzle, laminated and matted, ready for framing. That in itself would probably cost 10x the price of the puzzle.

Excellent pano Slobodan  :)

Any chance of filling us in on the back story to how one of your images ended becoming a jigsaw?

First time I went to Oxbow Bend and Schwarbacker Landing in the late nineties, there were perhaps half a dozen other photographers there for the dawn shoot and most of them were Brits. Then went back in 2009 and there were literally hundreds of photographers queuing up to take their 'trophy' shots. So well done even more Slobodan for capturing such a great image, without any of the crowds  milling around in it and getting in your way  ;)
