Years ago, I don't know the source, a researcher went through the measurements of all Playboy centrefolds since the first issue and found that the desired female body (as measured by being present in that magazine anyway) was tending toward less voluptuous and slimmer. An interesting observation, maybe, not undeserving of study, but I wouldn't give them too big a grant to do the work.
