Michael in your 'review' you state "The last time there was a new 50mm f/1.2L from Canon was in FD mount back in the 1970's."

What about the EF50f1.2L released back in 1989?

Look forward to more on the new 70-200. I had the f2.8L and traded it for the f4L, for which my back has thanked me ever since. Having a '4 stop' IS version will be a very good thing.

And in Mike Johnstons review of the Pentax camera, he mentions the new Pentax pancake lens, the "DA 21mm f/3.4."
   Actually it is f/3.2.
Pedantic stuff, but aren`t a lot of photographers pedantic, when it comes to lenses?

Hah, I'm a better pedant than you.

The one released in 1989 was an f/1.0L, not f/1.2L.
