William Neill should be a stranger to anyone on this forum or site.  We just published an article on William Neill's latest effort - The Long Road – William Neill Photographer a Retrospective that discusses his process of publishing the book.  Check it out HERE or better yet check out the links and order the book.  Bill's work is really top of the game.  We also did an extended video series with Bill, Shooting With The Masters.

Thanks for the story behind the book... I had already pre-ordered the book back in March, when I saw the announce of it in the author blog (I think)... waiting for it

I have always been inspired by Bill's work!  I also have a great memory of Bill showing me some of his 4x5 transparencies back when he lived in El Portal.   We miss having you in town. Remember this?

Hi Hugh, Yes those were the good old days. And glad we were able to connect back then, sharing images. What most people don't know is that I lived in this shack for 20 years in order to be near Yosemite and build my career!

You should come by our place in Ahwahnee some day, maybe during Sierra Art Trails?

Take care,  Bill

I will be at your opening at the Ansel Adams Gallery from 3:00 -5:00 today.  Are any other LULA readers going to be there? Pablo, I wish you could be there.

The quality of his work.

Really? You posted in a thread that's over one year old just to express your negative opinion about someone?

Either the one you refer to or a moderator removed the tawdry comment.
