Whether you get better profiles, is not really the question. The answer is that it depends. What you will get is a lot more flexible system with the ability to do more with your gear. For instance, if you started printing B&W, it's easy to measure linearity strips with the Pro than the Munki. Then if you started to want to measure single colours with the Pro, easy and on it goes. The Munki came out as a cheap and cheery device to do profiling. As I understand, it does a great job within limits.
