Absolutely amazing!! Cats are now ahead of stairs.

I'll try to dilute them with more dog photos.

Luna is always on the lookout for threats or things to chase.

Absolutely amazing!! Cats are now ahead of stairs.
Stairs have the advantage that they don't need to be fed every day, but they are generally even less sociable than cats.

Nobody has shown a pet rock in this thread so far.

This one is mine - well, my daughter's and my wife's, but she does sometimes condescend to recognise my existence.

Luna striking a pose and hoping for a treat this evening.
She has been preemptively posing and then looking hopeful for a reward lately. Cracks me up!

Methinks Horace wants a bigger playpen.

If you give them too much room they get HUGE!

Here is the biggest of our dogs, a Swiss white shepherd called Ada. I was test shooting my new D4 5 years ago, testing the continuous AF.

We also have 3 cats and a total of 2 to 6 dogs depending on how many dogs our daughters bring us for weekend care. Besides a white shepherd pictured, a papillon (she is the alpha bitch, at 7 lb.), great poodle, Portuguese waterdog, Dutch shepherd and a mean looking mixture of Dutch shepherd and German shepherd (presumably).

The late, great and much lamented Clyde, Fridge Raider Extraordinaire, doing his Lion King impression. Bengals do have a certain presence ...

He died three years ago today and is still sorely missed. Perhaps this will serve as a suitable memorial.

We have a Bengal and they are nice cats.  In many ways more dog like than cat like.

Unfortunately, ours likes to talk... a lot... loudly... at 0200.  Not fun.

But she is a good cat, although my opinion often changes at about 0201.

I am sorry for your loss.

Clyde is beautiful! Cats are wonderful creatures. Here's another Lion King impression...

Not my pet, Emilio belongs to no one, but hangs out at the climbers hut at Frey Valley in Argentina in northern Patagonia. I was climbing there some years ago and stopped on a ledge for a break and was stunned to suddenly hear a cat meowing from about 30 ft. above me. At this point I was several hundred feet up the side of Aguja Frey. He casually worked his way down a series of ledges and then surveyed the scene below while I snapped some shots.

Just to try to balance up for the dogs may I show my "shadow" lying beside my desk waiting for the next thing to happen.

He is called Hugo, follows me everywhere, sleeps by the bed ... and just to show what the breed should be like when recently he met a young 4-year old girl for the first time he just sat beside me and let her crawl all over him without demur and then licked her hand.
