Kevin, you really must do something about that dog's manners! There's a time and a place, and LuLa is not it. (Is it?)

On the other hand (so to speak), they do say that everybody has one.

But nice dogs, nonetheless!

;-)

And here's our new little warrior's chosen sleeping place, the water bowl!!

And now the two of them are having a little nap!

I took Luna backcountry skiing today. She loves it! Great conditions so pretty fun for me too.

What every new puppy owner lives for....some downtime!! He's acquiring quite a few toys as everyone that comes to visit is bringing him one or more!

History repeating itself I guess, here's our new guy taking his after breakfast nap and using his older brother as the pillow :)

I used a Helios 44k-4 (58/2) on my K-1ii to get this shot of Luna yesterday. I like to play with vintage lenses sometimes.
For a shot like this, the Catch-in-focus feature was a huge help with the dog moving and no AF.

This is Nando our three legged rescue from Taiwan. His leg rear leg was caught in a Gin trap after his owner passed away leaving him as a stray. It was amputated at the hip. That hasn’t slowed him down much, he’s still pretty quick! We picked him up at SFO from a rescue group. He’s such a sweet dog. He’s now become infatuated with squirrels which is why his gaze is off camera and focused on the fence where the squirrels roam.

Shot with a Nikon F100 on Fuji Pro 400 at an EI of 200. Developed at home.

"SQUIRREL!"  ;D

He looks like a sweet dog. One of Luna's pals lost a leg to cancer last year and is doing pretty well now. I need to get a new photo of him!

Here's our two boys, Louie on the left and Raplhie on the right. I apologize for the amount of fur on the carpet, but the opportunity presented itself prior to the every other day carpet cleaning!!  ;) I have a feeling we are making Electrolux very happy!!!

I recently won a local photo contest that was a fund raiser for the local shelter. Our dog and cat both came from the shelter and I like to help them out when I can.
The photo is of Luna (surprise surprise) when my wife and I took a day trip down there to hike this winter while waiting for snow to ski close to home.
There was a backpacker on a distant dune setting up his camp and Luna was fascinated.

Thanks! I certainly have enough, but what I wonder is who besides me and my family wants a book about my dog?

Thea discovered the cat pot. She's new to our house. It took her a few months to finally discover this place. Previous cats have loved hiding in here. I shot this with a tele from a catwalk above. (NPI)

Matt, that is a wonderful shot on so many levels!! I wonder if you would consider doing an online slideshow of your proposed book for us to see? Paul, yours too is an incredible catch, guess I better put the iPhone away and get "serious" if I'm going to hang with you guys!!  ;)

I know you all have seen the shot of our Jake & Louie laying on the floor with their heads touching. That one was taken after we'd had the, then newcomer, Louie, about a year. Well this one presented itself last evening, we have had the new guy, Ralphie for about 3 weeks. My wife & I were moved to tears when we saw this....
