Our pub was faced with closure so the village got together and bought it. It's now a Community Pub. The new publicans have brought a new pub dog with them (every pub should have a dog). Here she is.

Cute! And wow, that's some great socialism in action. :)
Does the dog go home with someone at night? We don't seem to have pub dogs over here. Closest thing is the hardware store cat.

That's a very well-processed B&W, Bill.

Good story, too. What's the name of the pub? If I'm ever in the area, I'll be sure to drop in for a pint or two.

The new publicans live in the pub, so the dog stays the night :-)

It's the New Inn, Halse, in Somerset, so if you're ever in SW England, call in. You can even stay here.

Sounds nice! I was born and lived my first few years in Fulham so it's possible I'll make it to that part of the world again one day.

Lots of good photo opportunities hereabouts. A guided tour of Dartmoor/Exmoor/Quantock Hills for anyone who wants it.

As long as you can conjure up some mist for me!
One day when it's safe to travel again I need to catch up on my travels!

At three months (today) he's a bit young to be going full bore. But he will be fast, like his middle brother Pi Dough seen below with Wagyu.
It is said, Whippets have two speeds: Zero and 35mph.  :D

Looks like one happy dog.
Even if he's young, his expression already seems to be asking "You wanna race me?"

Out with Luna last night. She was more interested in something else but reluctantly and briefly posed for me.

Bill, it would be great to add you to the list of "LuLa people I've met". Once this bloody virus is under control...
