I have to agree. I very much liked the closing thought about revisiting old files "to discover what else they may have to tell us." A rather simple and obvious suggestion, but would I have thought to say or do that???
Along those lines, I recall Michael doing an essay called "been there, done that" some time ago. It essentially said not to avoid subjects you or others have shot repeatedly, just because they've been photographed so frequently. You might find a new interpretation, he said. I took that to heart this summer when I traveled to a locale I've shot twice before. I saw the subjects in new light and at different angles, and I'm pleased with the new images I brought home. I can also see what I should pursue if I go back.
