Nice B/W.

Perhaps I would crop a part of the foreground.

It is nice.
I agree with Thierry about a possible crop.

I agree with Thierry about a possible crop.

There are some reflections in the water that might be brought out with processing. Silver Efex? I like the weird trees.

Thank you Eric, Thierry, and SDW.
I tried cropping some of the bottom, but it seems to take away from the expansiveness I was going for. Altho it nicely brings the trees up closer.
And I tried giving the tree reflections a little something extra and so long as it was a subtle edit I liked it. Too much makes the tree line look like a cardboard cutout.
It's so interesting to see how the edits you all suggest make such significant impacts.
I guess I'll have to keep mulling this over.
Thank you all again for helping me to see more possibilities.
The LuLa Forum is such a good help.

I don't think this is so successful in B/W it's a bit dull/wan and the eye wanders around...bringing focus to the reflections in water either through contrast or other might be helpful. My first thought was I wondered what the color version was like?

Upon brandtb's good suggestion, here's a quick color version.
Curious to know how it looks.
Thanks.

The color version looks much more inviting to me than the B&W.

Color version is more to my tastes… the B&W looks a bit too flat, like an old photo, but it's not that it's a bad image at all.

Thank you Francois and Stamper.
I guess I'm not sure what I like best. (I'll try and give the b&w some more oomph.)
But I do know I'm glad to have all the good support on Lu La.
