IQ of Hasselblad HC 50-110 zoom lens

The lens is excellent. Very heavy, not really ideal for handhold shooting. As for IQ, I have always been a prime user but I'm amazed at the quality of the optics in this lens.

Been using it with no issues since 2008. Be careful not to have lens with front element facing down as unbelievable as it sounds it can fall off. Known issue even detailed in manual that comes with it. Makes me wary of shooting straight down with it.

I was surprised how good this lens is. I never did any comparisons with prime lenses but only because I didn't need to. Highly recommended, it's a go-to lens for me. The 30-90 is more useful for the cropped sensors.

We have the first series of lenses, at least our copy of the zoom is very sensitive for flaring which makes it stand out and we actually sometimes use it for exact that reason. Not found in the primes. Our 50 and 35mm lenses show some CA. In general all lenses are very sharp and clean but I kind of feel they are lacking soul. Cheers!

A minor thing with this lens is that you can't use a screw in filter with the Proshade. You can however use the hood that comes with it or use 100mm filters in the Proshade.
