Hoarfrost by the creek
« on: December 25, 2016, 11:43:27 pm »

A favorite subject and a particularly good batch yesterday.
It was in the single digits above zero or not too cold by our standards. But still pretty brisk. The air was still and the sun had a big warming effect. Classic high country conditions.

Wonderful Christmas present!

All beautiful but if I had to choose #1 shades #3 by a whisker.

Agreed, although I think the margin is bigger.

Beautiful work, Matt, as we've come to expect. You took great advantage of some beautiful conditions.

I like the first one, but the whole set is great. I know I'll regret saying it, but I envy you the cold and snow. It was over 60F here today, and it didn't feel at all like winter.

Thanks Bob. I like the cold too. Or what it enables. But -24 this morning was just painful! Gear wasn't working well either once all my batteries got cold.
