For Sigma users:
Here's a link to the new DNG converter for Foveon images.
I have not used it yet.
I do know that our own Kevin R. assisted in bringing it to fruition!

I don't think Kevin had anything to do with it, this is just a new release it has been out there for awhile. They tried to market it to Sigma who did not want to fund them. Sigma does their own software in house.

I can't take any credit other than I have had a number of meeting with Sigma discussing possible ways to solve the issue of the Foveon RAW file and how to make it more accessible to other RAW converters.  Sigma's - Foveon RAW processor was like getting your teeth drilled without novocaine.  Maybe they can be more successful with their new cameras as a result of this.  The last time we seriously looked at the Sigma products was when Michael and I couldn't even get the product name straight.   This is still fun to see. https://youtu.be/ziIisIuzwe0.

Having followed DPreview's Sigma forums for a while, I believe the issue wasn't getting funding from Sigma, as much as *documentation* about file format information.  Documentation which Sigma was unwilling or unable to provide.

Thanks all for clearing this up.
Good to know what's going on- especially behind the scenes.
