Very dynamic image, and the composition and processing are spot-on (as always).

I agree 100% - well done! It's an excellent use of the oft-overused near/far composition.

Excellent constrast between the dynamic sky and the solid rock of the fossil sands. Composition is spot-on as is processing.

Vieri, this is image has a lot of drama in it. It would look fantastic printed large and might win a prize. I hope that you have a gallery exhibit one day.

I really like the contrast between the softer clouds and the rest of the photo. I think this is a great perspective and composition.

Thank you very much Bob for your very kind comment, much appreciated, I am glad you enjoyed it! :D

Thank you very much Peter, very kind of you! I love using ultra-WA and the near-far when it works, but as you say it is much used (or overused) and it's not always easy to understand when to deploy it... :D

Thank you very much Francois for your very nice comment, I am glad you enjoyed the rock-cloud contrast, which was the idea behind the image! :D

Thank you very much Eric, much appreciated! :D

Love the strong lines.

Thank you very much, the Fossil Sands on Arran are an incredible place, very inspiring if you are looking for that kind of compositions (lines, textures, etc) :D

Very good B&W. Would like to see the colour version too.

Thank you very much Paulo! There actually isn't a colour version, the scene was pretty much monochromatic and I "saw" it in B&W before even photographing it :D

Thank you very much Sean, you are very kind indeed! :D The photo looks great printed, I have an A2 print that is just gorgeous and I think it will enlarge further without any problem. I always print my finished images, it's my way to declare them complete, so to speak ;) About the gallery exhibit, I am working on it - hopefully soon... fingers crossed!
