I'm unlikely to sell this one to the local seafood restaurant  , but it keeps drawing my eye to the texture of the scales and the way the light moves over the bass' corpse. Your thoughts and comments are welcomed. Thank you for viewing.

i find interesting the composition and the subject choice. I like less this low light and its problematic macro and micro contrast.

I like this a lot. I find pictures of death and decay can often have a strong potential for metaphor. Have you tried it as black and white?

Thanks for your suggestion Michael. I have not processed it as a strict b/w, but may give it a go in a few days.
