I just had the very aggravating experience of the lock lever protrusion breaking off of my flash for no apparent reason. I doubt if the flash has been on and off the camera 50 times since it's purchase. Came back from a trip across the street to shoot a neighbors son's military homecoming and when I set my camera down on the kitchen table the little bugger just fell off. It looks as if the plastic just cracked at some point and finally gave way. Since I'm in CT, the repair place is about 45 minutes drive from me but it looks as if it will cost me just about $100.00 to get it repaired..grrrrr..
