Cajun Shanri-La2-for LL (2)

I’ve done three things to your image by adding adjustment layers.

1.   Changed color balance; warm the image in the mid-tones by shifting Y/B to yellow a little bit, shift M/G to green a bit and C/R to red a little bit.
2.   Add a bit of overall color saturation, just a little for me, maybe more than others prefer.
3.   Adjust the levels. If you look at the histogram in levels you will see you have most of the curve is pushed to the left. Move the white point down a bit and the black point up a tiny bit and set midpoint to taste.

So Ok I don’t approach landscape photography from the photojournalist end of the spectrum, so my tastes differ from those that do. I’ve taken your image and in my mind changed it from a cool blue-gray morning image to a warm bright evening image. Hay that is just me, your mileage may vary.

Hello Larry,
Thank you for all this work. It's interesting- and educational- to see what edits you've made.
To me, your warm and colorful version, is like a full orchestra of an image. Mine, on the other hand, is more like a single instrument playing softly- perhaps an acoustic guitar.
Two different performances interpreting one subject. If Pablo Casals and YoYo Ma can do it, why not us ?
Thanks a lot again.
