Sentinel

This tower is the only structure left in the failed housing development at the edge of my town. To me it feels like a lonely sentinel with nothing to watch over.

It's reminiscent of a bulldozed and overgrown site of a concentration camp. You've definitely succeeded in capturing the feeling.

Thanks for the comments guys. Cold and desolate was what I was shooting for, Paulo. I've often thought that the housing development's decorative tower looked a lot like a guard tower, Terry.
