unable to open 9.3
« on: October 05, 2016, 06:18:30 pm »

I downloaded 9.3 and since that time C1 will not open correctly I get the splash screen and the invitation to receive inspiration and then the scrfeen goes to my desktop I have tired to uninstall C1 and re install it to no avail I tried to uninstall it and obtain 9.2 but was unable to obtain 9.2  Any ideas where else I can go?

Thanks

It is likely 9.2 is in your Downloads folder if you had previously installed 9.2.

Phase one keeps the older releases on their site. It's not readily available but you will find the old versions on 9. But I also bet you still have 9.2 in your downloads.

Phase one keeps the older releases on their site.

Yes, the software archive is accessible from the bottom of their download page, the current link is here.

Cheers,

Thanks for all the suggestions  It is interesting that when I look at the downloads history I do not find and evidence of either 9.3 or 9.2 (either as capture one or phase on)
Does this info help reso;ve the issue?

Thanks for all the assistance I was able to delete 9.3 and then re installing 9.21 and the problem is solved  It is unfortunate that there is not a simple way to communicate to Phaseone about this type of problem  Adobe has a simple method of communicating problems

This is a strange problem indeed.

BTW it's actually pretty straight forward to open a support case with P1.

Just go to their site. Under support open a new case. You will have to register if not already.

They will respond usually in less than 24 hours.

When they respond you will get an email.

Assuming you bought C1 from a dealer (which is usually less expensive anyway, e.g. our discount) then you have two great options:
- Support case online with Phase One
- Direct call/email/visit/text to your Phase One dealer

This seems to me to be much better than Adobe's available support options.
