Smart Folders & Hierarchical Keywords
« on: September 16, 2016, 12:43:13 am »

I have a hierarchical keyword tree:

Exports
     Client 1
     Client 2

If I construct a smart folder that searches on 'Client 1' I can use 'contains' 'Client 1' and that works fine but can I specify an exact match on Exports/Client 1 - I have Client 1 in another tree which I don't want included - or am I going to have to use a search criteria for Exports and another for Client 1?

You can define multiple filters or constraints in your Smart Album definition. Define both 'Exports' and 'Client 1' and make them match ALL of the rules.

Yes, I know that - see my original post. I wasn't asking for a workaround, I was asking if it was possible to give a full keyword path. If not then it's something of a nasty. Maintaining a good number of searches every time I add children to keywords is not something I want to do. It smacks of whoever built the tool not thinking things through. Which is a worry.
