Help with Capture One Settings

Hi,

I've never seen these boxes fully explained in either the manual or online tutorials so I wondered if anyone could give me the run down on what impacts the various settings have if chosen?

Also, I'd like to have as few "subsidiary" files as possible when savings settings (I like the Adobe DNG file format approach for that reason) as there's less chance that these get lost if moving files around. I already pack as EIP when importing but also seem to get a lot of files (*.cop) which then have to be uploaded to my online backup server as they change

Can't help, but have you tried the Phase One forums? There is also a good Capture One Nine book by Sasha Ermi (?).
