Would this TV work for background
« on: August 21, 2016, 08:13:15 am »

I see a lot of questions concerning backgrounds...my normal response has been to use the computer monitor as I have done with these
droplets positioned in front of my monitor.  Difficulty is that it only works for macro stuff.

Anyway, this new projection TV is making the rounds...

Would it not work as a background with your subject posed in front?

Hi,

Yes, it will work, but only if you project it on a screen. Otherwise the camera will only see the exit pupil of the projector as a bright spot.

Cheers,
Bart

How...you wouldn't be aiming the camera at the projector, only the wall.
