Interesting Keith - the thought crossed my mind perusing their website that for about $300 or so one could convert the Canon Pro-1000 to printing whatever length Photoshop can handle. Is that your impression of it?
Sorry but no :-(
I specifically asked about this one... they would love to be able to offer this.
The software is effectively using the Canon driver (via the Canon SDK) so it faces the same limits as anyone else. The 2GB size limit I've come up against before is (I believe) somewhere in PS. Mirage takes the image data from PS in some other way than the old Canon plugin (which had a 2GB limit).
I've only ever tested this problem up to CS6, but I heard someone else mention it, so I believe it's still there in the rental versions of PS?
My initial query was related to making profiles for the printer and how they would work with Mirage, this was where we got into data handling and of course that PRO-1000 page length limit...
