Card Reader Recommendation
« on: July 30, 2016, 08:31:48 pm »

Can anyone recommend a USB3 card reader?
CF and SD compatible.

My old Sandisk is no longer fast enough and doesn't read current card types.

I'm using the small Lexar Professional dual slot reader (CF UDMA7 and SD UHS-II), as it can read and write on both cards simultaneously and it's extremely fast. If you need a more flexible system and you have the money for it, they also offer the modular Professional Workflow stuff.

I have three or four of the dual slot Lexar USB 3 readers, and they work pretty well.

I see they are down to twenty bucks. Wow.

Went with a Lexar Professional USB 3.0 Dual-Slot Reader.
Very happy with it.
Many thanks to all who offered their help!

I use the Hoodman Steel USB 3.0 for SD and CF media.
