Norway in late Feb 2017
« on: May 25, 2016, 11:46:00 pm »

I'm planning to spend 1 week in Lofoten starting on Feb 16. Any recommendation on where I should go for landscape photography in Norway between Feb 24 and Mar 2?

Hi, I can recommend having a look at http://www.68north.com/ for some inspiration. I have been to Lofoten before, although not in Winter. What I liked most were the beaches there, although the best beaches need a bit of hiking or a boat to reach them, not sure how easy this is in Winter.
I guess you will see plenty of good locations by just exploring the islands. It of course depends a bit on what kind of images you're after.

yes - Cody Duncan's ebaooks are awesome. I purchased the one on Lofoten in Winter. http://www.codyduncan.com/ebooks/. Lofoten is well covered. I am interested in any other place to visit in Norway outside of Lofoten. On tripadvisor.com, Norway experts indicated that Bergen & fjords are not ideal for a visit in winter. I sent a note to Cody as well. Will let u know if i hear back from him.
