Monk's Valley, in Cappadocia (Turkey)
« on: May 05, 2016, 04:15:55 am »

Cappadocia's hoodoos, or Fairy Chimneys, have very different shapes and forms according to the area where you find them. Some are elegant and slim, some stout and strong-looking, such as those featured in this image: the soft, pastel pre-dawn light helps mitigating the power of their imposing presence.

With the Sigma SD1 Merrill, 10-20mm, polariser, Grad ND and solid ND. Thanks for viewing, best

Stunning capture. We lived in Turkey for three years in the late 90's and have fond memories of Cappadocia. What a place and you captured it beautifully!

Fantastic, the light is especially gorgeous and perfect for those rock formations.

Very nice! The moon is a great addition. I'd love to see this in person one day.
