I like #3 ( the b&w ). Reminds me of some of Chuck Kimmerle's work.

Once again, superb. You've inspired me to consider again a trip to Skye. I referred in my earlier post to the extraordinary Scientist/climber Norman J. Collie, who climbed extensively in the Canadian Rockies and pioneered in the Cuillin.

Here's a bit of history from the Sligachan Hotel, which, to my envy, I'm sure KMRennie is familiar with.

I love the third and fourth of the most recent batch. I would clone out the telegraph poles in the last one, though.

1 and 3 of the new batch are my favorites, but the others are fine as well.

As for the protocol for thanking commenters, I think the acceptable forms range from a brief "Thanks, folks" to a lengthy essay beginning "I'd first like to thank my parents, without whose efforts I never would have been here to catch these shots..."   ;)

And it's probably best to avoid "A pox on all who suggested I make picky little so-called 'improvements.'"    ::)

I like very much the first, perfect focal length.

After two pages of kudos, time for a dissenting view? I find the OP image processed beyond believability, i.e., the clouds too dark and the foreground too light. The source of light is obviously behind the clouds, so not possible to have God's rays illuminating the foreground either. The image itself, before the manipulation, lends itself to a much better interpretation into a dark and moody scene overall.

I'll offer my dissent to that comment, Slobodan. I am shocked, shocked that you wrote "too" when you clearly meant either "two" or "too many." I think you need to reprocess your comment.   ;D
