FS: Arca RM3di - Rodenstock 40HR
« on: April 13, 2016, 03:16:09 pm »

I have decided to sell my technical camera.

I purchased this in January 2015 from Digital Transitions.

Tech Camera:
Arca Swiss RM3di, Rodenstock 40HR, H mount plate, Ground Glass. Shutter release (both the magnetic and a threaded one)
This was purchased new early 2015 from DT. Price was $11,878
Looking for $10,200 net to me.  In perfect condition.  (pictures are of it)

I am thinking of selling my H4X and Phaseone IQ140 package as well.  I don't have an idea of what the market is like for these.  If anyone does and can suggest potential good prices I should list at let me know.
H4X:
H4X Body (purchased new early either Dec 2014 or Jan 2015 from Samys - Count ~6200
Body has two extra batteries, viewfinder, all body caps, box all that.
Phase One IQ140 (Hmount) purchased new from DT at same time - Count ~8200
Extra battery, boxes, charger
HC 120MM/F4 Macro
HC 35MM/F3.5
HC 80MM/2.8

I am heading more toward video work and looking to see what the market is like for these.

I am located in Irvine, CA.  Something like this I would like to do in person or would need payment to completely post before shipping.

Hi Chris -

The RM3di and the 40HR (and shutter cables, adapter plate, and other items) was mid $11.5k - looking for potential offers

The H4X, IQ140 lenses were high $20k just under $30k - again looking for offers, seeing what the market tells me.

Not trying to be coy here, I want to see what the potential is.

Thanks,
Bill

I do understand your point. But it's a little bit like a silent auctions. Or do you want people to post suggestions here ?

Hi Christopher -

I didn't think of it sounding like a silent auction, I see that, not my intent.

I am looking more for suggestions.  I know pieces like the RM3di and 40HR keep their value pretty well.  I am more wondering what the thoughts are around fair pricing on the other.

Thanks for raising that point (silent auction) - not my intention at all.

No problem. Would be interesting to know for me as well. Your Arca has not the round "emodul" but already the rectangular one ?

Hi Christopher -

I did not purchase the E-module.  I was looking at it but I use my Leica Distometer and verify with the focus masking on the back.

Yes, but what "connector" does the camera have ? There are two. (Round/old or squarish/new)

Chris,

It is the square one like a phone jack, I have now added images and have put the RM3di and Rodenstock up for sale in this thread.

Hi Joe -

If I was to split them up (I am guessing that you do want it in R mount correct?).  I would sell for $5k.

It was $5599 one year ago from DT and is still in like new condition.  I have original box, mask, vario tube and will provide the focus chart as well.

Best,
