any experience of Godox LP 800X ? on location power
« on: April 08, 2016, 11:29:37 am »

Hi
I am looking for on-location power options. I may be in disused buildings so a generator isnt always suitable.

My heads are Interfit Stella XD300

Would the Godox LP 800X be suitable for a couple of strobes only (and maybe a laptop) for a couple of hours?
or are there better options which dont cost an arm & a leg

Based on years of positive experience with them, the Paul C. Buff, inc. Vagabond Lithium Extreme or Vagabond Lithium Mini are my recommendations.

I have bought from Buff and had shipped to Canada without any problems, they used to only ship via UPS which I wouldn't recommend under any circumstance. They will now ship Fedex ground which I am sure would be much better. Too bad they don't ship via US post office which would be the most economical and reliable in my experience.
