Capture One 9.0.1 crashes when removing keyword
« on: April 05, 2016, 06:18:13 pm »

I haven't upgraded to 9.1 because of the new bugs introduced with that upgrade.

Well, 9.0.1 has one deadly bug: when you try to remove a keyword, the app crashes.

In addition, the keyword took is still very weak compared to what Lightroom has and even the dying Aperture software.

Lightroom 1 had the metadata brush. Is this so hard to at least imitate a good idea?

And when you click an image, have the cursor in the keyword field so you don't have to click and then write. Which means taking your stylus and clicking, and then putting the stylus down again to use the keyboard.

A bit more practical sense for UI design, please.

The fact the cursor would be in the keyword field should not prevent from just clicking the already existing keywords...

I have the same issue with 9.1. Every time I try to delete a Keyword from the Keyword Library I end up with the Spiining Ball. Only way out is to use Force Quit.  Have reported this issue however it has not been resolved yet.  By the way I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program a number of time, however it did not fix the issue.

Hi Guys,

It may help to add info on the specific Operating system, since I assume some of the issues may be related to that. Phase One, like other software developers, constantly also need to play catch-up with effects caused by driver and OS updates.

Of course it would help more to open a support case on the issue at their site.

Cheers,
Bart

Hi Bart,

I had already submitted a report to C1. Today during the C1 Webinar I asked about the Keyword issue and David Grover said that version 9.1.1 should be coming within the next week and should fix many of the current issues.

By the way I am using a MacBook Pro Retina (June 2012) with the latest version of OS X El Captitan.

Cheers,
