Yesterday I decided to update LR CC to the latest version, via the creative cloud app. But it failed with an error that it could not install c++ 2010 redistributable. After several tries, uninstalling, reboots, etc, no success. I even installed visual studio. Still no success. Then I called Adobe Support, and via a chat session I gave them control over my desktop, and they did the install and all went fine (still no clues as to why it failed for me). But the major point: I am back into production now!
