I have been plagued by the ....tablet not found problem. Updated my drivers and done the recommended.... Services....stop and restart. However the problem recurs most days. Windows 7 Professional. Anyone found a solution?

Just an idea - try different usb port and different usb cable. Might look for a port that is always powered. Could be a loose fitting connection on either end.
In win7 power saving "plans" -
In power settings, there are options to keep certain internal bus signalling powered and also usb sleep options. Set those to always on or don't allow sleeping. Might just set everything to never turn off/sleep

I was just going to post something similar. Frank's suggestions are good. I have had problems with some devices that didn't work off the most "convenient" USB ports, but a different, powered one worked fine.
