I didn't realize a grading app was in CC until recently and I don't have CC, but I am curious whether anyone uses it in preference to DaVinci or some other.
I have used SG for a few years, but switched to Resolve for my last project. SG is quite capable if you can get it to work reliably. It's kind of buggy, but so is Resolve, but less so.
Resolve is a bit better for conforming EDLs from original camera files. It's also much better at tracking. And if you have a powerful enough computer, Resolve can work in real time a bit better than SG. That said, I've graded 4 or 5 features in SG that went to the multiplex. One which I graded on my Macbook Pro
