If you're located in Europe you can bid on my current auctions on eBay :)

I have nother 8x10 film holder that's up for auction as well, but that's very heavily used and I wouldn't recommend it as I can't guarantee it's 100% light proof.

I think I still have a couple or three in a carton that I missed when I sold my 8x10" gear some thirty years ago. These were well used when I got them, so they are pretty ancient, but they were light tight, though certainly not "very good/mint."

If you are anywhere near the Boston, MA, area, you could come by and I'll give them to you. They might at least let you try out your beast until you can find some "very good/new" ones.

I'll see if I can find them and I'll send you a PM. Where are you located?

I'm outside of Boston and could give these a new home.

Hi Daniel,

I found them, and much to my surprise I have 11 holders in two 11x14"Kodak enlarging paper boxes. Some or maybe all of them still have unexposed film inside, which must be at least 40 years old. The old film might be useful for checking holders for light leaks: just expose both sides of a holder to bright sunlight for a minute or two and develop. Of course you will need to keep track of which film came from which side of which holder. I think I would stick a number label on each side of each holder and after they are exposed, in the darkroom use a paper punch to punch holes corresponding to each holder's number.

I live in Newton. Send me a PM with some times/days that you might come for them, and I'll reply with my location and how to get them.

I also have darkroom equipment available for a price. Nothing 8x10, but a nice Beseler enlarger with holders and lenses for most sizes from 35mm to 4x5". Let me know if you, or any else at Mass Art, might be interested.

Thanks, Eric.  The school itself may have an interest. I will send you a message later to solidify something.
