Question regarding filters
«

I used Leica cameras for the past 24 years-just went digital.
My Leica lenses all got B+W filters.
IMHO,there the best.
Yesterday,I received a canon L Lense ,I plan on putting a B+W on this lens as well.
Hope this helps,
Mike

I know this topic has been treaded profoundly in the past however, I couldn't find a thread that gave me and a clear answer. I apologize if the topic is redundant.
I recently purchased a new Contax G2 camera system. Until now I have been a Nikon shooter. On my SLR lenses I use B+W filters and am quite happy with them. I know that no filter is better than the best filter available however, I don't want to risk the damage to my lenses.
Which brand filter will best complement this camera system?

Take a look at Nikon filters. Great quality and lower in price than European brands.
