Alain's last article ... LR 3?
« on: February 21, 2016, 02:03:51 pm »

From what I can tell from Alain's last article, he's still using LR 3 ... he shows a dialog box with the shadow/recovery sliders which were replaced in Lightroom 4 (2012).

At first I assumed it was an old article but then I remembered he just took this shot last November at Badwater.

I guess this is more a question to him than anyone ... but PV 2012 was a big improvement on PV 2010.  Is there a reason with sticking with the outdated version?

Wayne,

The screen shots in both of Alain's recent articles are all the same as my
LR version 6.4. I see no evidence of LR version3.

Perhaps I am mistaken as to which article you are referring to.

my bad, I saw his reference to the recovery and fill light sliders in his outline of steps, and when glancing at the dialog box that must of stuck in my overly tired brain.

apologies.

No apology needed, brain fade is standard equipment of late with yours truly.

I truly understand.
