I'm hoping to visit the Patuxent Wildlife Refuge this weekend, and wonder if anyone has any advice on where to go (north or south part of the refuge)? Since this is my first trip to this site, I was planning on traveling with just a 70-200mm plus 1.4x extender, no tripod. Wise or not?
