Machrie Moor, III
« on: February 11, 2016, 11:24:15 pm »

The Isle of Arran, besides its amazing geology, has a very rich history. Men lived here since the Neolithic, and they left abundant traces of their passage on the Isle; stone circles, burial chambers, standing stones dot the island with their imposing presence. Machrie Moor is the site of 6 stone circles, looking great here in the last light of dusk.

With the Pentax 645z and the 28-45mm f/4.5. Thanks for viewing! Best,

I like the composition, but not the color.

A little overpurpled for my taste, but the composition is great.

I like it a lot. I played with color balance and in the end, I would simply leave it as it is.
Beautiful.

Thank you very much everyone for taking the time to view and comment! I appreciate it that my interpretation of colour here might not be to everyone's taste, definitely no problem there :D Thanks again, best

I feel distracted by the grass. I feel the focus should be more on those rocks. Perhaps you can dodge/burn the focus, or you've got some other compositions that move me towards the epic part of the subject?

Maddog, sadly this is it. Thanks for commenting, though. Best,
