Bernard, did you actually look at the Hans Feurer website and check out his long lens bokeh?

I someone looks at the said website and notices the bokeh first, something is not right...

I know I may be too crazy, but I would suggest D700 or D3 body. For light weight, D600 for sure but it may not 100% compatible for your old primes.

Compared to the medium and large format gear some of us use. Also the Pro bodies from Nikon and Canon.

That D700 is one body I'd hang on to. Does everything I want from cameras; almost as well, does the older D200 I still keep.

Why keep it? I like the focal length (effective) changes it permits from all my Nikkors, old and new.

As I have never printed bigger (on digital) than A3+, there's no problem. Also, with cameras, I do try to crop with what I see. Wish the iPad was as friendly!
