I know the Olympus Pen cameras don't get much love from video shooters but I want to share a fun project we did here in Austin with two of the cameras. Our reason for using them was to leverage the amazing image stabilization but once we started editing we were pretty happy with the color/noise/etc. Just wanted to show what I was able to do with our inventory of EM5.2's and a few fun lenses.

Very nice.

I've been using them a fair bit along side the more expensive usual cameras, but it's very hard to beat them when it comes to image stablising.

Amazing clip. Many good shots; the cameras certainly work well.

Thanks John and Edmund. I'm enjoying using those cameras in the same way I used my old Bolex Rex 5 movie camera. Just shooting and not worrying about what might be better. The image stabilization is worth the price of admission in my book.

Warning: do not watch during the mid-afternoon on a day when you've skipped lunch. Hunger pangs will immediately ensue!  :D

Seriously…good stuff!

Happy to see a new flat profile coming to the video half of the EM5.2. Nice for work.

Wow, that looks very cool and I just recently ordered a footage from one company in order to create an advertisement for our cafe and to attract more people. I spent more than 25,000 bucks on a complete repair and replacement of equipment and about 150,000 on advertising. I hope that all these expenses will pay off before the end of the summer. Although it may sound strange, the most expensive purchase was commercial display fridges from one company, but they have excellent quality so I don’t complain. Come to our cafe))
