Countryside
« on: August 03, 2015, 04:36:33 am »

These are some shots taken before and during sunrise. The area is in southwest Portugal, a few km south of the town of Sines. I normally photograph the coast more, but I also like very much to go a bit to the interior a couple of km. Just a small distance from the coast, there are still many small farms, where crops and animals are grown the old fashioned way. No place for industrial scale in this region.

Of course the conspicuous wind turbines have encroached, for better and worse...

Regards.

Reminds me very much of our trip to Spain, especially the hay stack!

Very nice set… The third one is my favorite. The very bright sky conveys a sense of intense summer light. The first one is also interesting with the long exposure and the turbine.

Thanks for the feedback.

Third one is my favourite as well, the sun had just risen over the hill on the right, so the light was both harsh and soft.
