Beautiful, I think this is a great example where lots of dark shadows really makes the shot.

Mike & Francois...Thanks for your kind words.
This is a memorable picture. I was standing between the larva flow (very slow), 1 foot on the back and the cliff in front, could barely moved in the rain with the camera on tripods. I found out at the hotel there were holes on the bottom rubber of my Nike from heat and I had to throw them away. I will do it again!

Very interesting and you are on a consistent roll. This one could certainly fill a substantial space on any of your walls except the toilet...for obvious reasons. ;)

I've had a couple of months of sabbatical leave to write a couple of textbooks which will end soon. I've been in front of computer all the time so please give me an apology for flooding pictures :)
