Hi all

I came across Calvendo UK mentioned in a birding guides related email update.

It makes me think it is a sort of crossover between self publishing (but without the upfront fees) and microstock. The earnings per calendar are quite modest but as they say the higher priced ones sold in good numbers will generate the best money.  With both PoD and 'bulk' supply to retailers.

I am going to have good read etc especially as this is European sales the tax implications (though I think that one that is nagging in memory is digital downloads and VAT?)

So thought I would share this information and also ask what more experienced folk think of this type of 'route to market'.

As the markets are euro centric the LuLa interest or even user experience I surmise could be limited..................unless of course there is something similar in the north American/Canadian market?

Any thoughts and insights would be very welcome :)
