Nice essay.  It is typical of the information that has made The Luminous Landscape a valuable and unique resource for photographers.

Since I still use film, I might have suggested a less confrontational title however.

Yes, good article.  If I ever stop traveling long enough to run out of DSLR photos to work on, I need to go back to all the good film photos I took previously but never got time to scan (I've almost forgotten how), and then that article will be very useful.
