Advice on using service bureaus for printing
« on: July 08, 2015, 05:48:01 pm »

I have worked with local printers for some of my large format (and some smaller format) printing in the past. However, partly because I have moved, I am now interested in trying service bureaus. I would need archival inkjet prints of mostly grayscale images on a variety of papers. Printing directly from Lightroom would be a plus if it is possible to do this remotely.

In The Digital Print, Burrell Imaging, Miller's Professional Imaging, and ProDPI are as mentioned as some possibilities. I would be interested in thoughts on these and other services (Mpix? Shutterfly?), as well as any general recommendations on using these services. Thanks.
