I like the composition, and the foreground is quite appealing. The ocean and the distant rocks seems to be a little off color wise as far as I can get from the jpg, maybe too much turquoise?

Aahh, Armand, je suis artiste! Yes, I take license ;) Thanks for the comments.
But seriously, the reason I shifted the hues just a bit was to bring some separation in the water, stacks, and sky. Having said that, I was saturating those hues already present though not coming out sufficiently to my eye. What I really appreciate in addition to comments, is the amazing ability so many on LuLa have to detect subtleties of tone and hue; I always learn from these. I was going for a mood, je ne sai quoi, so I do take liberties; realities are much too banal, though concerning. Sorry for the bloviation ;D

I love the image and how you developed it. I think you have a bit too much foreground.

How can we have too much turquoise? Just kidding, of course...
I like the colors or more precisely the color combination. It may not reflect the reality (I really don't know) but nevertheless I find them pleasing.

Francois, you raise a good point. What is reality? I really don't know either. To your and Mark's points, when we came to this beach it seemed vast, probably at least two miles to the stacks from where we were standing. The dominant feature was the beach with the little rocks you see and the waves breaking gently on the shore. The headlands, if that's what they are, were far away, at least further than I wanted walk in the sand. So, the image reflects that reality, at least as far as I can interpret it. I wasn't going for documentation; I try to avoid it in fact with varied success. I was going for pleasing or peaceful, which governed my color choices. Hope these thoughts are pertinent.

That doesn't bother me... but too much dirty-looking foreground does.

Nice image. I like the scattered rocks in the foreground. It could be a nice shot with less foreground too, I think.
