It's not the device. You could have used a pencil to sketch that scene, and it would still be a lovely image. Good eye!

Thank you John and Eric. John B, I agree. I was trying to say how surprised I am at the quality if the images coming out of the cell phone.

This recent trip I used my phone almost as much as my "good" camera as the image quality is good enough most of the times. It suffers in lower light and when I want a different perspective than the fixed focal length.

Without the shotgun shells, you'd have a much more powerful image.
If you placed a shadow of a hunter in the image, still staged, but a plausible narrative.
