Only been there for two weeks: equatorial rainfall pattern every day around lunchtime, if memory still works - 1984. Discovered Chinese Chablis: delighful. Well Scotland sold bulk whisky to Japan, its knitwear production brands to England, so impossible to blame anyone else for the ripoff trades. The prawns were out of this world; the streets were free of chewing gum and the only street danger at the time was a rash of tv sets flying out of high-rise apartments. Killer trash, I think the papers called it.

Indeed, and right here in the Bay of Pollensa, we lost one some years ago, along with an illegal passenger. It seemed there was more fuss about the breach of regulations than of the lives. The last thrill. ;-(

Well, the silly prince had all his cases thrown out of court, so the best thing to do is for him to go back to Fairyland.

I suppose newspaper delivery boys - should they still exist - will have jobs for a wee while longer. ;-)
