He wants to reduce, possibly pull out all troops in Iraq, Afghanistan etc before he leaves to keep us out of war, one of his campaign arguments and promises in 2016.  Why would he start a new war?   You really don't understand Trump.

So basically, he farted around until the last minute. Just to be clear, he is thinking about reducing our forces in Afghanistan from 4500 to 2500, and pulling 500 troops out of Iraq.  So 2500 total. All of his military advisors are telling him not to do it. We are bare bones as it is. Of course, since the  Air Force is stationed in Kuwait, with no reductions planned there, he can continue to carry out bombing missions against the Taliban. So it's not like we are really getting out.

So, let's see what else is on the checklist or campaign promises. Oh yes, The Wall. He managed to get 15 miles of new wall built so far. I wonder if he can get the other 1985 miles done by January.

Did it every occur to you that China may not be reporting accurately what goes on there re Covid-19?
Did it occur to you it's impossible to hide tens of thousands of these kinds if death these days? Like tens of thousands (yesterday Trump lied about millions) of stolen votes?
Did it occur to you to examine how Chinas economy is doing during the pandemic?
Did it occur to you to attempt to make then show us a photograph?

Three dictatorial countries where you get arrested if you open your mouth.  Is that the solution?  Would you want to live under those regimes?

Alan, you are so ignorant about anything outside the US. Your propoganda fed views of the rest of the world are embarrassing. Maybe travel to these countries, spend some time with the people and form your own opinions rather than being led by your nose with the same propoganda that was around when everyone chanted "better dead than red".

You missed it.  The ice rink is a metaphor regarding the vaccines and his ability to get the job done: "on time and under budget".   That's something the NYC government couldn't do with the skating rink, but he did for them as a private person. So now we have vaccines in months as he promised rather then in the years his adversaries were claiming it would take.

Yes, he promised the vaccines, but that was about the extent of his "help".
On the contrary, by downplaying the pandemic risks, organizing his circus rallies and not encouraging mask wearing, he has contributed to thousands of deaths.

Yeh, let's also not forget about getting that check from Mexico for the cost of the wall.

If they have any unreported open cases or not is a big question, but for some time they have opened with limited capacity their restaurants, gyms, and theatres.
That doesn't occur to him either. Or that China could actually get the virus under control while the US botched it so badly.

It appears he may have moved his time table up to get out since losing the election. He may want to show he kept his word before he leave and got us out of there.  However,  I hope he doesn't jump the gun and pull them out prematurely and lose bargaining position with the Taliban.  All this talk about troop movements says something else.  That he knows he's a one-term president.

Those ice rinks are very expensive for skating. Weekend rates are $19 for adults, $9 for seniors. They charge $5 just for looking (spectators or non-skating parents). In Canada, the outdoor skating is usually free.

So you think communism is good.  That sounds pretty ignorant to me.

It's lack of isolation that killing people mainly.  When we isolate, the rates go down.  When we get together after governor's open restaurants etc, then the rates go up again.  So we isolate again and it goes down again.  The governors control all of this.

Utter rubbish without a lick of data or proof. Fake news. Please do attempt to use the Google machine and look up the top 4 largest cause of death in the United States this year; isolation is not on the list. Tell the truth!

From your vaunted BBC:

Vietnam, a one-party Communist state, has one of south-east Asia's fastest-growing economies and has set its sights on becoming a developed nation by 2020.

I have the advantage of having actually visited Vietnam so i can judge for myself whether it corresponds to any sensible definition of "communism".

Moved it up from January 20, 2021 to November 20, 2020? So he was originally planning on pulling them out on his last day in office?

However,  I hope he doesn't jump the gun and pull them out prematurely and lose bargaining position with the Taliban.

As I mentioned, all his advisors think it is a bad move.

And what happened to his "peace" agreement with the Taliban earlier this year? You know the one that he was going to have the Taliban come over to Camp David to sign. It's pretty much down the toilet.

I don't think Thailand is communist either. So that leaves China. I guess it is technically communist.

Yeh, let's also not forget about getting that check from Mexico for the cost of the wall.
Trump got the Mexican government to cut off illegal immigration caravans to the US.  Mexico's president cooperated with Trump and put thousand of their troops on the border to stop it.  OK they didn't spend their money on our wall.  No one expected it.  That was hyperbole.  But Mexico paid for their troops and Trump got the job done.  That was the whole point of the wall.  To stop or constrain illegal immigration.

What do you think Biden's going to do?  Knock them all down?  Stop the security arrangement with Mexico?  Allow illegals in?  I suppose he could make all illegals citizens to expand the Democratic vote, make Puerto Rico and Washington DC states for more Democratic senators and congressmen.  But I don't think he'll do that too quickly.  If he does, republicans will surely take Congress in 2022.  Republicans did very well this election below president, better than democrats.  There was no Blue Wave.

American don't want illegals or game playing which Democrats propose.  If republicans hold the Senate, which is debatable, that surely will stop new states being added.  Having a split government would be the best thing for America to prevent either side from doing stupid things.

Did you check to see if Trump gets a percentage? :)
