He actually said "Just because it was Castro, doesn't make it a bad thing". Hitler did take Germany out of it's depression and Mussolini did make the trains run on time.
I believe Castro even petted a dog once.
What amazing logic here.
Peter
Peter, Britain could do with a Mussolini too: somebody needs to get those trains working properly! Instead, they are going to spend 200 billion fish making better rail connections between the north and London, which will only serve to make it easier for the northerners to leave the north, not create new jobs in the north, whereas improving
local infrastructure instead of thinking about London, would perhaps manage to create those jobs.
Indirectly, and at great cost, Hitler did just that: after the war which he lost, the Marshall Plan helped rebuild all those old factories with spanking new ones, and now those who can replace their Caddies with a Mercedes often will. Man, they even managed to buy Rolls-Royce and Bentley. So who won what?
I patted a dog once, too. But it was my own.
